Call to Order:

The meeting was called to order at 6:15 p.m. by Jeff Hancock, President.

Approval of minutes:

Motion: To approve the minutes for March 8, 2016, meeting as posted on the Club's web site. Motion carried

Treasurer's Report:

Don Deutsch gave the treasurer's report: Motion: To accept as presented. Motion carried.

Library Report:


Show Committee:

Next Committee date will be forwarded to the Show Committee members by e-mail when arrangements are made with Seton Hall.

Old Business:

The President reported on the lease agreement with the 4 - H Center for 2016. We will meet in the large room at the front of this building for the months of June, July, and August. New lights should be installed by then. The rent has been paid.

Sign-up for seminars: Steve Brown: 7 people signed up, 5 more max; Bob Biermann: 9 signed up, 3 more max; Marty Leenhouts: 2 signed up, need four more min; Peg Cawthorn: 5 signed up, one more needed min. Last call for Peg Cawthorn and Marty Leenhouts seminars.

New Business:

Jack Kelly asked the club if there was an interest in meeting at the Amvets Post 84, 2912 Broadway Ave. Evansville, the cost would be $50.00 per meeting. A motion made by Linda Menner second by Dan Alldredge, to look into moving to the Amvets. Motion carried. President appointed a committee: Marlyn Breitweiser, Dan Alldredge and Joel Slaton to visit the Amvets building to see if it is suitable for club use.

Pat Moore of Moore Wood and Roughouts has agreed to be the show judge and give a 3 day seminar: October 24, 25, and 26. The cost is $150.00. A motion by Steve Eli was made for the Sister Josita Fund to pay hotel expense for show and seminar for Pat Moore. Motion seconded and carried.

Kathy Vonderahe asked for prayers for her son Keith Vonderahe.

Mini Seminar instructors are needed badly.
