MINUTES OF TRI-STATE WOODCARVERS' CLUB

April 14, 2026 4 H Center

Call to Order:

Meeting was called to order at 6:00 P.M. by President Jeff Hancock. We welcomed visitor Kaitlyn Conner.

Minutes of previous meeting:

Motion to approve the minutes for March meeting was made by Erv Leidolf and seconded by Jack Winkleman. Motion carried. Minutes approved.

Treasurer's Report:

Treasurer Doug Egerton gave his report. Motion was made by Jack Winkleman and seconded by Steve Eli. Motion approved. Treasurer's report approved.

Library Committee:

Library is open.

Show Committee:

Jeff counted how many signs we had left. We have flyers, table reservations, Kathy talked about the tickets, and the Presidential Challenge was carving something you never carved before.

Old Business:

Angel Carve - Chemo Buddies sent a card and Robin read it to the club. Frank said that if you bring in five carved angels he would give you a ticket for a prize.

Midwest Outdoor Show June 19 to 21, 2026. signup sheet on table.

Camp Carson - we made a lot of contacts.

Terry Weimer take it off list.

New Business:

Mini-Seminars

Kathy has the mini seminar tonight.

Show and Tell:

Kathy Vonderahe showed her mouse.

Jack Winckleman showed his bears.

Jan Weiss showed her stacked pumpkins.

Steve Eli showed his fireman and hydrant, and Santa.

Half Pot:

Half-Pot was won and given to Frank Wildeman.

Adjournment:

Richard Hitch made a motion to adjourn and it was seconded Jan weiss. Motion approved. Meeting adjourned.
