Call to Order:
Meeting was called to order at 6:00 P.M. by President Jeff Hancock. We welcomed guests Ashley McDonald, Hope Rubera, David and Diana Perkin Minutes of Last Meeting:
Minutes of previous meeting:
Motion to approve the minutes for July meeting was made by Jan Weiss and seconded by Alan Bailey. We did have a mistake it was brought up it was to read John Wilkinson instead of John Wilkerson. Motion carried. Minutes approved.
Treasurer's Report:
Treasurer Doug Egerton gave his report. Motion was made by Steve Eli and seconded by Jan Weiss. Motion carried. Treasurer's report approved .
Library Committee:
Jon Gunnels donated a book for the library called "Woodcarving The Beginner's Guide".
Show Committee:
We will be handing out 25 new yard signs next month, Frank has 3 signs that are 4x6 if you could find a place for one, we have signage for the signs that you already have. The show is October 24and 25, November we will have a round-table of all the demos that we had at the show.
Old Business:
Sales table.
Robin has club patches.Angel carve 64 tonight for Chemo buddies. We donated 254 since March.
Wood report we are getting wood from Jim Hart. Jeff is going up to get it.
New Business:

Jack got an email from NWCA about anyone wanting to donate a Christmas carved ornament by November see this website nwcaweb@.gmail.com for more information.
Jeff is carving the coat on the Santa for the door prize.

Frank Wildeman showed his carvered golden crown kinglee bird.
Alan Bailey showed his carved angel, mouse, sailor, snowman and others.
Jon Gunnels showed his cherry hollow form leaf bowl and Germanring angel American woodturners.
Kathy Vonderahe showed her carved bunny rabbit.
Half Pot:
Half-Pot was won and given to Melba Winkleman.
