MINUTES OF TRI-STATE WOODCARVERS' CLUB

February 10, 2026 4 H Center

Call to Order:

Meeting was called to order at 6:00 P.M. by President Jeff Hancock.

Minutes of previous meeting:

Motion to approve the minutes for January meeting was made by Richard Hitch and seconded by Collette Loehrlein. Motion carried. Minutes approved

Treasurer's Report:

Acting Treasurer Roy Kline gave his report. Motion was made by Ben Meyer and seconded by Richard Hitch. Motion approved. Treasurer's report approved. Doug Egerton was out of town.

Library Committee:

Library is open nothing new.

Show Committee:

We need a Show Committee Person. We have the Exhibition Hall like last year. The show will be the last weekend of October.

Old Business:

Audit Committee is going to be Doug Egerton, Jon Gunnels, and Richard Hitch.

Sales table:

Robin has club patches.

New Business:

We have a option of promoting the club by helping out Midwest Outdoor Show Fathers Day weekend. June 19 thru 21 to help Jeff Mayo out . The fee is 100 dollars. Jon Gunnels made a motion to do this and Kathy Vonderhe seconded. Motion carried.

Terry Weimer has a frame with a stained glass in it that he wants someone to fix. Richard Hitch will take a look.

Kathy Vonderahe will talk to a Rep at Ascension to see if we can give carved items like an angel or something, to a organization.

Seminars:

Show and Tell:

Roy Kline showed his birds on a log.

Jon Gunnels showed his platter and bowl.

Frank Wildeman showed his hummingbird on a flower.

Kathy Vonderahe showed her santa and bear.

Half Pot:

Half-Pot was won and given to Danny Conley.

Adjournment:

Richard Hitch made a motion to adjourn and it was seconded by Jon Gunnels. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned.

The next meeting is Tuesday, MaRCH 10, 2026
