MINUTES OF TRI-STATE WOODCARVERS' CLUB

February 9, 2021 4 H Center

Call to Order:

Meeting was clled to order at 6:00 P.M. by President Jack Winkleman. We welcomed guests Kathy Hamilton, Shannon Ulewicz, Julie Garrett, Alivia Garrett, Kat Ulewicz, Skylar Garrett, and Nathan Jones.

We also want to thank the Anonymous Person that donated the money for the club membership fee's this year.

Minutes of previous meeting:

Motion to approve the minutes of November meeting was made by Jeff Hancock and seconded by Ben Meyer. Motion carried. Minutes approved.

Treasurer's Report:

Treasurer Jon Gunnels gave his report. Motion was made by Jeff Hancock and seconded by Frank Wildeman. Motion carried. Treasurer's report approved.

Library Committee:

We have study go by's in our library. When checking an item out you can use it for up to three months. We also have a variety of books.

Show Committee:

Jeff Hancock has the show set for October 23 and 24 at in the Banquet Hall at the 4-H Center. Frank Brown has committed to come to the show. Show Committee meeting will be held before the next woodcarver's meeting on March 9,2021 at 5:30 P.M..

Old Business:

Tool auction for Conrad Wentzel's tool's is still pending due to vaccinations and how soon member's can get out.

New Business:

Please see Jon Gunnels to pay your club dues for 2021 and get your new membership card.

May 1st Fort Branch Indiana Community Park Tri-State Craft Shows Fairs and Vendors

Jon Gunnels brought up the subject of finding information on getting a square to have for the show if, a member or potential person who wants to puchase an item.

Seminars:

President Jack would appreciate feedback on any seminars the club would be willing to support in 2021.

President Jack would also appreciate ideas of what kind of mini seminars club members would like to see offered this year. He will be looking for presenters...

Show and Tell:

Frank Wildeman showed his knife handles and his santa in a chimney.

Kathy Vonderahe showed her whimsical snowman and egg.

Roy Kline showed his rose.

Jack Winkleman Showed his golfball rose's and his Kolrosing and tool.

Half Pot:

Half pot was given to Jeff Hancock.

Adjournment:

Ben Meyer made a motion to adjourn. Seconded by Kathy Vonderahe.
