MINUTES OF TRI-STATE WOODCARVERS' CLUB

March 10, 2026 4 H Center

Call to Order:

Meeting was called to order at 6:00 P.M. by President Jeff Hancock.

Minutes of previous meeting:

Motion to approve the minutes for meeting was made by Frank Wildeman and seconded by Alan Bailey. Motion carried. Minutes approved.

Treasurer's Report:

Treasurer Doug Egerton gave his report. Motion was made by Jan Weiss and seconded by Jon Gunnels. Motion approved. Treasurer's report approved.

Library Committee:

Library is open and nothing new.

Show Committee:

Jeff would like to know how many yard signs we have. If you go to any shows we need a tool vendor. Show is October 24 and 25, 2026.

Old Business:

Financial Audit Report Doug, Jon Richard says they look great.

Angel carving project for Chemo Buddies or other Charities.

Midwest outdoor show June 19, 20 and 21, 2026, for club to participate for 100 dollars at the fair grounds

Richard will be framing stained glass windows.

Robin has club patches.

New Business:

Jon Gunnels made a motion to keep eight years of financial records and discard (shred or burn) the others and it was seconded by Alan Bailey. Motion carried. Shredding or burning the other financial reports approved.

Richard Hitch made a motion to have the club purchase a CD with the Sister Josita Account and it was seconded by Jon Gunnels. Motion carried. CD approved.

Larry Sisk has a bow shoot coming up on April 11, 2026. Any volunteers to promote the club. No cost and it is at Camp Carson in Princeton.

Seminars:

Show and Tell:

Kathy Vonderahe Showed her snowman.

Marvin Daniels showed his bark carving and his bark carving sticks.

Half Pot:

Half-Pot was won and given to Allan Johnson.

Adjournment:

Richard Hitch made a motion to adjourn and it was seconded by Alan Bailey. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned.
