MINUTES OF TRI-STATE WOODCARVERS' CLUB

March 14, 2017 4 H Center

Call to Order:

March meeting was called to order at by President Jeff Hancock. Guests and new Members were made welcome.

Minutes of previous meeting:

Motion made seconded to approve the minutes for February, 2017, meeting as posted on the Club's web site. Motion carried.

Treasurer's Report:

Alan Bailey gave to treasurer's report: Motion made and second to accept as presented. Motion carried.

Library Committee:

Ben Meyer welcomed anyone to use the Library

Show Committee:

President, Jeff Hancock, informed us he is waiting on the contract with the National Guard

Old Business:

Bill Kelly still taking orders for shirts. T's $14.50 Polo's for $25.00

Several members brought pieces tonight to show and tell. Thank you for sharing great pieces with the club.

President requested volunteers for Mini-Seminars at the monthly meeting this year. He has a sign up sheet for those interested in leading a mini-seminar. The Club pays $25.00 per mini-seminar for the instructor at each meeting

March meeting Mini Seminars: Marvin Daniels- Class on Eyes

New Business:

Discussion of future wood carving at the Newburgh Library on Bell Rd. More information in the future.

Marvin Daniels seminar: June 10 and 11 at Seton Residence 9200 New Harmony Rd. Starts at 9:00 am each days. Ends at 4:30 each day. Lunch with the Sisters
