Marvin Daniels Seminar
Saturday, April 17, 18, 2010 at Seton Residence, 9200 New Harmony Rd., Evansville, IN starting at 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. CDT.
Marvin Daniels will teach a two-day seminar on basics woodcarving. The cost will be $55.00 and cost of roughout.
Marvin has been carving since 1993 and teaching since 1995. He has won numerous awards in Midwest area shows. Moreover, he has been teaching a weeklong seminar at the John C. Campbell Folk School for the past seven years. In addition, for the last two years, he has been one of the five caricature instructors at Renegade Woodcarvers Roundup in Lebanon, Tennessee. Marvin also teaches many classes in and around his southern Indiana home of Evansville. Bottle stoppers, Santas, Cowboys, and Indians are just a few of the roughouts that he offers for you to carve.

Steve Oliver will present a seminar on relief carving of a wooden plate. The cost of the seminar is $45.00; in addition, the plates will cost between $10.00 and $15.00 depending on the design chosen by the carver.
Steve has been carving since 1985, he has won many awards and ribbons for his carvings, particularly his reliefs. He gives seminars all over the tri-state area and participates in various shows in Indiana, Illinois and Ohio.

Steve has been carving since 1977 and teaching since 1986. He has won numerous national and international awards and is the author of Carving Figural Kaleidoscopes and Carving Pen Figures. Cost is $60 plus the cost of the roughout. Steve will teach how to carve Santas.
